Terms and Conditions

By booking a rental with The Guest Cam, you (“the renter”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Rental period

  • The rental period begins on your rental start date and continues for up to 14 days.
  • Cameras must be shipped back using the prepaid return label by the end of your rental period.

2. Payment

  • 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance is due before your order ships.
  • Orders will not be released until payment is made in full.

3. Shipping & Returns

  • Cameras are shipped to arrive on your rental start date.
  • Renters are responsible for ensuring cameras are returned in the original packaging using the provided prepaid shipping label.
  • Late returns may result in additional fees.

4. Care of Equipment

  • Cameras must be handled with reasonable care.
  • Do not expose cameras to water, extreme temperatures, or physical damage.
  • Cameras should be returned with all original components.

5. Damage, Loss of Theft

  • The renter is responsible for the equipment from the time it is delivered until it is returned.
  • replacement cost of $120 per camera will be charged for any cameras that are lost, stolen, or returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Charges will be applied to the payment method on file.

6. Photo Processing & Storage

  • Photos will be processed and delivered via a private digital gallery within the stated timeframe.
  • Images are stored temporarily and may be deleted after 365 days.
  • We do not guarantee the preservation of photos beyond this period.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to [email protected]

Cancellations Before Shipping:

  • Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before rental start date.
  • 50% refund if cancelled 15–29 days before rental start date.
  • No refund if cancelled 14 days or less before rental start date, since the cameras will already be scheduled, cleaned, and prepped for your event.

After Shipping

  • Once cameras have shipped, no refunds are available.
  • If the package is refused or not used, the order is still considered fulfilled.

Event Cancellations

  • If your event is cancelled, the above cancellation policy still applies. You may choose to reschedule your rental for a later date (based on availability), but fees may apply if notice is short.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.

8. Liability

  • The Guest Cam is not responsible for:
    • Missed moments or lost photos due to user error.
    • Shipping delays caused by carriers.
    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Agreement

By booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
